What To Wear

Outfit Ideas

• Casual Family Look: For a relaxed vibe, consider denim paired with soft jumpers or button-up shirts in coordinating colours. keeping colour palette to a minimum ensures the focus is on you and your family. 2-3 coordinating colours works best . Stay away from too much pattern or logos unless is the look you are trying to achieve.

• most importantly wear what's comfortable and what makes you happy and feel like the best you .

• stay away from stuffy or anything overly uncomfortable, that will reflect in the images.

• Polished Family Look: For a more elegant appearance, choose slightly more tailored outfits in neutral tones. For example, a flowing dress for mom, paired with similar dress for daughter and chinos and white shirts for dad, , creates a sophisticated look.

• tonality can be very powerful, where outfits and backgrounds blend, allowing more focus on you. Different textures within the same colour add interest and depth .

• consider the colours you are going to wear, as ultimately you would hope to be displaying a piece in your home, for many years to come .

• we will help and guide you with this when we discuss and make a plan for the shoot.

What to expect from your session.

• the session will last as a guide line 60 -90 mins depending on factors like size of group, outfit changes and backdrop changes.

• for timeless portraiture, we use stunning in house plain blackdrops depending on the look we are going for.

• for fun mini shoots , birthdays, holidays etc, we have limitless supply of fun backdrops, both in the studio and digital.

• there is a comfortable waiting are for other family members waiting their turn. Drinks and snacks to keep everyone enjoying the day are available .

• music of choice, can also help everyone get in the mood for some relaxed family bonding images,

• on arrival we will have a quick chat to go over what you are looking to achieve form the shoot and then away we go .

• the studio is set in large garden, so there is the option to shoot outdoors too, in natural light, providing a nice contrast. this can be arranged and discussed prior to arrival

• approximately 2 weeks after the session, you will be invited back to view the all the images in High resolution .

• If you are happy and wish to convert some of your images into a stunning wall product, collection or album, we have samples in the studio, and can discuss what best suits your style, needs, space and budget.
